I am a newbie in php. i am trying to develop a social network site.

in which i have to make a profile page for each user.

which i had created like this: http://www.mysite.com/profile.php?id=101

but my boss want to get the user profile like: http://www.mysite.com/username

is there any solution to do this. Please please help me with this..
